On April 3, 2018, HGT Law (who previously had been appointed lead counsel by the court) filed a consolidated class action complaint against Defendants Dynamic Ledgers Solutions, Inc. (“DLS”), Tezos Stiftung (“Tezos Foundation”), Kathleen Breitman, Arthur Breitman, Timothy Draper, Draper Associates V Crypto LLC and Bitcoin Suisse AG for violations of the Securities Act of 1933. 

On January 19, 2018, HGT Law commenced a second shareholder “opt-out” lawsuit (“Lawsuit”) on behalf of a group of retail investors (“Investors”) against Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc. (“Valeant”) and its senior officers for violations of federal securities laws.  To date, this Lawsuit is the only opt-out action that has been filed on behalf of retail investors.

On January 10, 2018, HGT Law commenced a shareholder “opt-out” lawsuit (“Lawsuit”) on behalf of the investment funds Commonwealth Global Shares Fund 1, Commonwealth Global Share Fund 13 and Commonwealth Specialist Fund 34 (collectively, “Plaintiffs” or the “Funds”) against Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc. (“Valeant” or the “Company”) and its senior officers for violations of federal securities laws.

On October 17, 2017, HGT Law filed a shareholder derivative lawsuit (“Lawsuit”) on behalf of the shareholders of McKesson Corporation (“McKesson” or the “Company”) against various McKesson directors and officers for abdicating their fiduciary duty of oversight with respect to the Company’s sale of opioid drugs and controlled substances.
